Return Policy

In line with the Consumer Protection Act of 2008, the following terms and conditions relating to the Return/ Refund Policy for any vehicle purchased at Pristine Motors refers:

Pristine Motors reserves the right, in line with the CPA, to limit its liability regarding refunds and returns requested if the purchaser simply changes their mind or made the wrong decision. We thus, advice customers to please choose carefully before making a finalised purchase.

Refunds/ Returns will be considered in the following instance:

Should the vehicle, components or parts be found to be defective within 6 (six) months or within x kilometres (to be outlined per customer, depending on vehicle type and other factors) from date of delivery, the purchaser has the option to choose between a repair, exchange or a refund. This only applies to vehicles where a known defect is found that could not have been caused by negligence on the purchasers end. If a defect is caused as a result of negligent driving or poor maintenance, Pristine Motors cannot be held responsible for those damages. Pristine Motors will also reserve the right to have technicians on their end review the mentioned defect and advise on the timeframe of when it may have been caused and how it could have been defective.

Subsequently, Pristine Motors will not accept any claims for the return of the vehicle if the defect / failure relates to tyres, batteries, glass, alarms, immobilisers, radio / cd / dvd players, GPS devices and screen, any other electronics and / or parts not required / essential for the proper working order / condition of the vehicle. 

Should your return and request for a refund be accepted, please note that the customer will be liable for all damages caused to the vehicle from date of delivery to date of return, as well as payment for usage of the vehicle calculated at R(x) km driven (outlined per customer depending on the vehicle and vehicle usage.)
